Race against time for Central Challenge

by CARLY GOOCH, May 29 2017

Hundreds took the challenge of a fun strategic game, during the fundraising event Central School Challenge Family Adventure Race, in Nelson, this Sunday.

‘X’ marked the spot as young and old took to the streets in search of clues for Nelson Central School’s innovative fundraiser.

More than 450 locals gathered for the inaugural Central Challenge rogaine on Sunday, attempting to beat the clock in a serious treasure hunt.

Rogaining is a cross between orienteering and treasure hunting, requiring participants to visit as many control sites as possible in a set time limit.
